Värvitud, pestud, vahatatud/ Painted, washed, waxed

Pärast seda kui ma laupäeval vihmasajus paati pesin sai kopp ette ja läksin koju ära.
Paati saab küürida pulbriga, mis segatakse pastaks veega (müüb keskmine paadipood või Bauhaus)
Pühapäev oli palju parem päev. Päike paistis ja loputasin paadi üle (Alumisel osal jäid mõned pesuaine triibud, aga ma loodan, et see kalasid ei sega eriti).

After wasing the boat on Saturday in rain I got tired and went home. You can wash you boat with powder that you mix to paste with water.
Sunday was much better day. The sun was shining and I rinsed the boat (still some white stipes of the cleaning paste are on the underside of the boat. I hope the fish don't mind).


Pärast pesu ja nühkimist paistis paat päris kena välja teiste omasuguste kõrval.
Siis sai kogu kupatus ülevahatatud/poleeritud.
Ja õhtul enne kui pimedaks hakkas minema värvisin veepiirile uue triibu ka (värvi müüs Laki tänaval värvipood). Ebaõnnestumine oli, et krunt oli aerosool paraku. No oli ikka paras jebimine, kuidas rulliga aerosooli värvida. Jääb loota, et jäi kinni ka kere külge. No ja siis tõusis tuul ja keeras värvi aluse ümber. Olle ettenägelik toimetasin kile peal, aga tabamuse sai mu saabas. Vähemalt ei laperdanud see kuhugi kaugemale. Kuna värv kuivas kiiresti ja triip oli peaaegu lõpuni, siis värvine saabas lendas jalast ja viimased kaks meetrit triipu tegin üks jalg sokkis.

Selliste juttide tõmbasimel on teipimine tähtis. Sirge või kõvera teibi peale tõmbamiseks on mõistlik kasutada tehnikat, kus üks käsi hoiab teipi pikemalt väljas ja teise käe pöial juhib teipi. Suht väsitav, aga saab päris sirge juti nii. Teip tuleb kohe maha võtta pärast värvimist, muidu tuleb koos värviga või puhastad liimijälgi veel kaks aastat.

After washing and rubbing the boat cleaning the boat look rather nice next to others.
Followed with polish/waxing.
In the evening before it got dark I managed to paint the bootstripe on the side.
Unfortunately the primer was aerosol and it was rather unpleasant to roll it.
Later the wind came and pushed the paint tray over. I worked on temporary foil not to paint the ground. Still my boot got a hit with the paint. At least the tray did not fly anywhere else. Since the paint was trying quickly and the stripe had to be finished I took of the boot and painted the last 2 meter wearing a sock in one foot.

Painting stripes if you need to make a straight line i have used a method where one hand holds the tape and the other hands thumb guides the tape. It is tiring but the results are worth it. Tape has to be pull after painting. If you let it try you can pull the paint off or spend the next two years cleaning the glue marks.


Pilsi pesin ka ära, aga see oli ebamugav töö ja ei jõudnud pilti teha. Kütusetorud on ka vahetatud (kuigi tagasivool on vaja uus panna, kuna peenika toru ei lähe paagi kinnituse külge). Mootor käivitus pärast remonti, järelikult oli edukas. Paar päeva veel, siis lähme vette mängima. Valgel osal on vaja tulevikus veel mõned gelcoat parandusi teha.

Pilge is also washed now. Not the nicest job so i did not take pictures. Fuel lines are replaced (return tube has to be changed since it does not fit to connection on the tank). Engine started so the repair was successful. Few more days and we will be in the water. Later some smaller repairs to the gelcoat are necessary.
